Being located at the boundary of Zion National Park, in a quiet, secluded canyon, Open Sky provides a rare opportunity for their guests to indulge in life. Our task was to brand nature wrapped in luxury.
Using ultra-luxury tents from South Africa creates a connection with the nature that these travelers came to explore. But these aren’t ordinary tents. The canvas is only a means to break down the walls that typically confine us and prevent us from experiencing nature directly. Our target audience was more than Resort Guests. We first had to sell the concept to Investors and Banks.
Our partnership with Open Sky started as the initial concept was being put to paper. Our challenge was to capture the emotional quality of the vision and allow for evolution. Our involvement included the formation of the initial brand strategy, identity creation, business plan writing and design, website, pitch decks, videos, photography, and plenty of collateral items.
By showing the connection with our guests, we then translated this vision towards investors and banks so that they could feel this unique concept and buy into the opportunity.
Every guest touchpoint reflects the brand of Open Sky. As their brand advocate, we helped form the vision with all related vendors. Everything from the architectural renderings, property layout, interior design, amenity suppliers, cuisine choices, concierge services, and so much more, our role was to be a sounding board for our client to ensure the brand was intact every step of the way.
Engineering the Guests Experience (CX)
Our role is now diving into the hiring/cultural components and operational procedures of the resort to help engineer the customer’s experience. In an industry with endless interaction with resort staff, creating a culture that reflects the brand has never been so significant.
